Is this a typical group tour?
Not at all! We don't offer typical group tours and our clients arenít typical group travellers. People who travel with us want to really get to grips with the country they are visiting and to truly understand and appreciate the cultures they experience. Itís all about authentic experiences that serves up unforgettable memories and of course, a whole lot of fun!! Our trips allow you to step off the tourist track and into local culture from bustling marketplaces to hole in the wall hidden gems. We want you to have a more authentic travel experience.

What is the group leader like?
Some of our trips are accompanied by a fun group leader. The aim of the group leader is to take the hassle out of your travels and help you have the best trip possible giving you information on the places you are travelling through, offer suggestions for things to do and see, recommend eating venues etc. During your trip you will also have free time to do your own thing, relax and take it easy or explore at your leisure. 

Who are my travelling companions?
For privacy reasons, we cannot provide you with advance details on your traveling companions. However, our trips appeal to a wide range of travelers from different parts of India. Typically, our groups are a mix of single travelers, friends and couples, all coming from various professional backgrounds like media, entertainment, advertising, etc. (Entrepreneurs, corporates, niche clientele)

Can I book extra nights of accommodation before or after my trip?
Yes, we can help to arrange additional accommodation at our starting or ending hotels as well as assist if you want to extend your trip to any other destinations. Please do let us know in advance regarding this so we can give you the required information.

Can I join a tour late or leave it early?
It's difficult to join a tour after it has begun but can be sorted. You need to inform us in advance and we can give you the information. It is possible to leave a tour early however you will be responsible for your own arrangements from the moment you decide to leave the tour. 

What type of ground transportation is used on your trips?
More than just a way to get from A to B, we believe transportation is a major part of the experience and an incredible opportunity to truly discover a destination. Depending on the location, we take trains, buses, minivans, ferries, flights etc.

I am a vegetarian, is that a problem
No problem. A good variety of vegetarian food is available in most cities and is no longer a point of concern. It is important to realise that in some places your diet might be slightly limited, as meat often forms an integral part of the local diet but vegetarian options are always there.

What should I pack?
The following checklist is to be used as a guide only and is not intended to be a complete packing list. 

Is the trip departure guaranteed?
The Villa Escape reserves the right to cancel any trip at any time for any reason if there are too few participants or if the quality of the trip or the safety of the travelers is judged to be compromised. In such circumstances, refund of all payments received by The Villa Escape shall constitute full settlement. The Villa Escape is not responsible for any additional loss incurred on travel arrangements or air tickets due to a trip cancellation.

Are Visas and Airfares included in total trip cost? 
We do not include Visas and Airfares in the cost of our trips. However, we have agents who can assist you with the visa process and with booking your international flight tickets. 

What is your cancellation policy?

In case of holidays booked with The Villa Escape, the cancellation will be effective from the time that The Villa Escape receives a written request from you and the following cancellation charges will apply unless specified otherwise for a particular trip.
Initial deposit paid is non-refundable.

Apart from the above:

  1. 42 to 60 days prior to departure - 25% Cancellation charge
  2. 29 to 41 days prior to departure - 50% Cancellation charge
  3. 0 to 28 days prior to departure - no refund
  4. No refund is given for a partially-used product. Some Villas or boutique hotels have different cancellation policies which will be informed to you at the time of booking.
